These provisions are part of every license and charter we issue — stated up front so your IT and privacy reviewers do not have to ask for them.
- FERPA School Official. We operate strictly as a School Official under 34 CFR § 99.31(a)(1)(i)(B). The district retains direct control of all education records and may direct us to export, correct, or delete at any time.
- Never commercialized. Student PII is never sold, mined, rented, or used for targeted advertising, and is never used to train AI models outside your own tenant.
- Encryption & isolation. AES-256 at rest, TLS 1.3 preferred in transit, record-level RBAC, and per-institution tenant isolation — one program cannot read another program’s rosters, recordings, or assessments.
- 30 / 60-day purge SLA. On written request or contract expiration, identifiable student data is purged from production within 30 days and from encrypted backups within 60 days, with a written certificate of deletion for your records-retention file.
- Independent validation. A completed HECVAT is furnished on request, and we will execute your district’s own DPA or an SDPC / NDPA-format agreement. Claims here are vendor-asserted; no completed SOC 2 Type II is represented at this time.
